Getting ready for Christmas: 6.Snowflakes manicure

Hello dear friends! It's time for the 6th entry from the "Getting ready for Christmas" challenge - snowflake nails. I'm not sure how but a white Christmas makes us feel like little kids all over again, it's magic. Unfortunately, snow is not expected for the next days in my country but I'm still hopeful :) Here's my manicure.

This look was really easy to achieve: I applied 2 coats of essence Goofy Blue , I placed the snowflake stickers and then I used Golden Rose Carnival 01 to create a snowy gradient. For a frosty look I applied one coat of Miss Cop 01. I sealed the manicure with a coat of Seche Vite and that was it!

I hope you like my snowy nails and don't forget to check out Elsa's blog, the wonderful girl behind this challenge.
Until next time!

Getting ready for Christmas: 5. Blue & Silver

 Hello!
I've been quite uninspired, clumsy and let's face it - lazy lately so my blog posts were not as many as I wish they'd be. I really hope things will change soon.
Anyway, here's the 5th manicure from the "Getting ready for Christmas" Challenge, Blue and Silver.

I'm not happy with these photos, I assure you the tree looks way better in real life. It's a simple mani but the sparkly silver holographic glitter makes it look really festive. The products used here are: Essence Colour 3 Midnight Date, Golden Rose Rich Color 20, Flormar 392, Top coat Seche Vite.

What do you think, would you wear this manicure?

Getting ready for Christmas: 3.Under the mistletoe

Hello friends! Today I'm showing you the third manicure from the challenge "Getting ready for Christmas" created by Elsa. The theme was "Under the mistletoe" and although at first I found it very cute in the end I wasn't very inspired. I'm not very happy how my manicure turned out but I don't hate it either. I guess a golden base would have looked better. If you're curious, the essence polish is called Pink and proud and it's one of those foil nail polishes that I simply don't like :)

So, what do you think?
Don't forget to check out Elsa's facebook page - Like a candy shop, she's sharing all the entries for this challenge there.

Getting ready for Christmas: 2. Glitter overload

Hello friends! I'm moving on to the next theme from the "Getting ready for Christmas" Challenge, Glitter Overload. You all know I take glitter very seriously so get ready for some real bling bling :))

I knew from the very first moment that I had to use this christmasy glitter from Missha, just look at it, aren't the colors merely perfect? I got it from cosmetic-love.com, there are tons of gorgeous nail polishes to choose from and they also offer free shipping.  You can visit their facebook page here.
The glitter is pretty dense but the bigger particles are a little tricky to get on your nails. They tend to stick out a bit but thank God, there's always Seche Vite. Other than that, no complaints, this is a real beauty!

If you're wondering what I used as a base, well yeah, it's another glitter - China Glaze All Wrapped Up. You can get it from here. I think this combo is really great as it adds depth. It somewhat makes me think of the sky and the Christmas lights that are already all over our cities.

Here are the pictures I took last night, I was so impatient :))

So long my friends, I can't wait for the next theme! Don't forget to check out Elsa's blog, the mastermind behind this wonderful project.

The Getting Ready for Christmas Challenge: 1. Not yet, but almost!

Hello friends!
Christmas is near so I decided to take up this exciting challenge created by Elsa, the lovely girl behind Like A Candy Shop.
First of all, let me show you the themes. Aren't they just great ? If you're willing to participate you just need to leave a comment on Elsa's post to let her know. There's no pressure with this challenge as there are no precise dates for each theme, you can go on at your own pace.

And now let me show you my manicure. It's sparkly, of course :D I really hope it's not too much, my nails are longer than I'm used to.

The nail polishes used here are: Brooklin 02 for the base, China Glaze Pure Joy and China Glaze Grafitti Glitter for the gradient, Zoya Chita for the tree, Seche Vite on top. The little ornaments are from Essence.

Please let me know what you think about this mani :D Kisses!

The fall edit Tag: Red nails

Here we are, day 3 of the fall edit tag. Today it's all about red nails and I'll show you the newest red polish in my collection: P2 Color Victim 650 Fever. But that's not it! I chose to spice it up with a cute black and white glitter. Enjoy!

Fever is a gorgeous metallic ruby red, easy to apply and opaque in two coats. It dries fast and has a beautiful shine. It was really pretty on its own but I felt it was a little bit boring for my taste :))That's why I decided to add some no name black and white glitter. I must say, I like the result and I don't think it's too much... Do you?

Don't forget to check out Elsa's blog, the creator of this beautiful tag.
Kisses!

The fall edit Tag: Green nails (Zoya Chita)

Hello girls!
Today's post is going to be exclusively in english so I hope you won't mind. I'm starting a new Tag created by the lovely Elsa from Like a candy shop. I love fall, especially the colors that go with this season so I knew I had to do this tag from the very first moment I saw Elsa's post. Just look at all these great themes. As a bonus, there are no particular dates for each entry, you can basically post whenever you have time, as long as you follow the order.
This is going to be a real challenge for me as I usually don't post make-up looks on my blog. Who knows, maybe I'll discover a new hobby :))

The first theme is green nails, what better opportunity to show off my new Zoya Pixie Dust? Chita is a lovely forest green with champagne glitter.
It looks lighter in the bottle due to all of the sparkle but it appears darker once it dries on the nails. I found the color really hard to capture.

I was quite pleased with the formula. It's a little thick but nothing that I can't handle. Compared to Carter is really pigmented, you could probably get away with just one coat but I always prefer to add a second one, I think it looks better and it helps the texture stand out.
I really love this one and I'm really excited to have it, I was waiting for so long for a textured green polish and now my dreams came true. Thank you Zoya :D

I really love how this looks in dim light, the sparkles seem to come alive.

Kisses! Don't forget to check out Elsa's blog for more lovely posts!
