A trecut ceva vreme de cand n-am mai postat o manichiura si chiar imi era dor. Pe aceasta de astazi o aveam pregatita de saptamana trecuta insa iata ca de abia acum vede lumina zilei :D Dupa cum reiese si din titlu este vorba despre o manichiura cu pene, un trend care a capatat o mare amploare in ultima vreme. Am vazut astfel de manichiuri atat la blogurile din afara cat si la mult iubitele mele bloggerite din Romania. Si mi s-a pus pata sa incerc si eu manichiura asta, pana la urma cat de greu poate fi? :))))) Si iata ce mi-a iesit :D
It has been a while since my last manicure post and i really missed writing about this. Today's manicure was prepared since last week but it gets to see the light of day just now. As you already know from the title, it's a feather manicure, a trend that got so popular lately. I've seen manicures like this on many blogs from all around the world, including my dear romanian bloggers. So i had to try it , how hard can it be? Look what i came up with :D
Acum, va rog frumos sa ma scuzati, dar aceasta e totodata prima si ultima poza cu manichiura :))) E singura care mi-a iesit decent dar eu zic ca e suficient cat sa va faceti o idee :D N-aveam idee cat de fragila poate sa fie o pana si in toata casa n-am gasit un forfecut care sa taie :))) Dar sa va explic in cativa pasi simpli ce si cum, in caz ca vreti sa experimentati si voi aceasta manichiura :D
Now, please forgive me but this is the first and the last picture with this manicure :)) It's the only one that came out decently but i guess it's enough for you to see what it's all about. I had no idea how fragile a feather is and that my scissors are sooo bad. But let me explain the method to you in a few simple steps, in case you want to try it :D
In primul rand aveti nevoie de:
- pene, bineinteles :D eu le-am achizitionat pe ale mele de pe Pink Nails ; mai sunt si pe alte culori si costa 3 lei un pachetel cu 2 pene;
- o oja nude, bej, in cazul meu, dar puteti alege orice va place; eu am folosit nuanta Street Beige de la Avon;
- un top coat bun, eu inca il iubesc pe cel Impala de la Lady's.
First of all you need the following things:
- feathers, of course :D I got mine from Pink Nails; you can find them in different colors also;
- a nude polish, mine is beige, but you can choose any color that you like; i used Avon's Street Beige;
- a good top coat, i am still using the Impala one.
1. In primul rand aplicati oja pe care ati ales-o; eu am folosit-o pe aceasta pentru ca se usuca foarte repede si e intr-o nuanta asemanatoare penelor.
2. Dupa ce s-a uscat oja, aplicati un strat mai grosut de toap coat.
3 Luati pana si fixati-o in stratul inca ud de top coat; eu am facut in asa fel incat o singura pana mi-a ajuns pentru toate degetele de la o mana;
4. Dupa ce ati pozitionat pana luati un forfecut care sa taie bine ( nu ca al meu ) si decupati in jurul unghiei
5. Apasati-o usor cu degetul ca sa se fixeze cat mai bine in stratul de toap coat.
6. La final mai adaugati inca un strat sau doua de top coat si manichiura e gata, acum trebuie doar sa asteptati putintel sa se usuce.
1. First of all you need to apply the polish of your choice; i used this one because it dries really fast and it matched the color of my feathers;
2. After the polish has dried apply a generous layer of top coat;
3. Place the feather on your nail while the top coat is still wet
4. After you've placed the feather you need to cut the excess off with some sharp scissors
5. Pat it a little bit with your finger so that it will set in the layer of top coat
6. In the end you just need to add a new layer or two of top coat and the mani is ready, you just need to let it dry for a while.
Motivul pentru care mie nu mi-a iesit manichiura cum as fi vrut a fost faptul ca forfecutul meu nu prea taia. In incercarea de a decupa pana cat mai aproape de unghie am reusit mai mult sa o descompun :))) Dupa ce gasesc un foarfece care sa taie mai bine o sa repet cu siguranta operatiunea :D
Asadar, ce parere aveti ? Ati incerca acest fel de manichiura?
The reason why my manicure didn't come up as i expected was the fact that my scissors were not that sharp. In my attept to cut the feather as close to the nails as possible i only managed to tear it apart. I am planning to try this again once i find some decent scissors :D
